Hanley Ramirez has had two very nice seasons for the Florida Marlins. He is a great shortstop who carries a mean stick, and we can’t blame you for wanting him in your upcoming fantasy baseball draft.

With the knowledge that he will be batting leadoff, however, we can’t advise you to lick your chops over him like every other “expert” in the world of fantasy baseball is telling you to this season. HanRam will have a very nice season, but other than Albert Pujols, there will not be a more overrated player drafted in the first round of your draft in 2008 than Hanley Ramirez.
