Baseball’s Hottest Wives Nominee: Karina Smirnoff
Karina Smirnoff, star of Dancing with the Stars, will soon be dancing down the aisle with Detroit Tigers starting pitcher Brad Penny. The ballroom dancer is a 5 time US national champion, but achieved stardom on the popular DWTS program.
Smirnoff and Brad Penny met in October 2009 and were engaged on October 4, 2010. The couple were introduced by UFC fighter Chuck Lidell. Smirnoff showed off a 4.5 ct. engagement ring. The two plan to marry in January 2012, thereby making Karina Smirnoff Penny eligible for the 2011 Baseball’s Hottest Wives contest.
