MLB Network’s Hazel Mae
Sorry guys. MLB Network’s sweetheart Hazel Mae is married.
In January, the Phillipine-born Mae married free agent first baseman Kevin Barker. Barker, who last played for the Reds in 2009, had 265 MLB at bats and 6 homers in five seasons with the Reds, Padres, Brewers, and Jays. Barker signed on with the Washington Nationals this season, but was released. He played in the winter with Veracruz in the Mexican League where he hit .291 with 12 homers in 80 games. Barker, who played his college ball at Virginia Tech, has hit 260 minor league homeruns.
As for Hazel, her marriage is especially big news in Boston where Hazel was known to be an all-star on the dating circuit. She was attached to Boston Celtics Ricky Davis and Sports Center anchor Steve Levy. The former NESN siren was especially popular on the sports scene in Boston and once joked that she wouldn’t work there if there were rules against dating the men she interviewed.
“I like wearing my tight blazers and shirts,” Hazel told a Boston blogger a few years back. “This bothers some women, but they need to chill out.” Mae was so popular in Boston that her cardboard cutout sold on eBay for $400.
Kevin Barker is currently a free agent which, unfortunately, makes Hazel Mae a free agent as well and not eligible for Fantasy Baseball Dugout’s Baseball’s Hottest Wives contest for 2011. Perhaps, we will need to have a Baseball’s Hottest Broadcasters competition.
See more of Hazel after the jump.

Hi,Hazel Mae. I'm sorry that you're not with MLB anymore. I really was impressed with your knowledge of Major League Baseball! I miss your hosting Quick Pitch. Hope to find you on your new network. I agree – I just LOVED your tight clothes! You're quite correct; the women just have to "cool out!" Kisses, Martin, a real fan of yours!
