If you haven't ever done an auction draft, you really ought to consider it for this season. I don't ever want to go back to a snake draft. The great thing about an auction is that you could do it again immediately after the draft and have a totally different result. Like most auctions, most of the managers got anxious at the beginning of the draft and over-bid. My hat is off to the Professor who I thought did the best job of conserving his money and spending it wisely. NittanyBlueHen was also conservative at the outset, but was likely too conservative overall as he left the game with money on the table. All in all, a great job by commissioner BeeZee and great software from ESPN.
