Last season, some well meaning senators, Jonny Isakson (R-Ga) and Jay Rockefeller (D-WV), decided to honor Atlanta Braves manager Bobby Cox on his 50th year of service to baseball.  Isakson’s staffers even put together a nice reception for the legendary Braves manager.  Unfortunately, as often  happens in Washington, things don’t quite go as expected.
