Matt Diaz Called For Tripping
It’s rare when an opposing player actually gets cheered in Philadelphia, especially during the midst of a pennant race. But, that’s exactly what happened with Matt Diaz of the Braves last night after Diaz tripped a “redman” who ran on the field during a Jayson Werth at bat. The best thing about watching it on TV was watching Werth and Braves’ catcher Brian McCann laughing at the redman and Diaz’s trip.
