Garcia and Nick Swisher became engaged on May 19, 2010. Swisher had previously been linked to Danielle Gamba.
The latest Yankee wife beauty is no stranger to the public. She played Reba McIntyre’s daughter in the television show “Reba” which aired for six seasons. She’s on the brink of something much better, however, with the launch of a new ABC sitcom called “Better Together” which was picked up for this Fall season.
When a friend tried to set them up, Joanna at first said that she wasn’t interested. “I don’t want to date a ballplayer,” said the former homecoming queen from Tampa. But, after meeting Swish, she told her Mom: “Oh Mom, you’re going to love this one.”
