Baseball’s Hottest Wife Nominee: Karen Burnett
The Yankees wives aren’t hard on the eyes and A. J. Burnett’s wife, Karen Burnett, is a nominee for Fantasy Baseball Dugout’s Baseball’s Hottest Wife for 2009.
Several sources on the internet say that Karen Burnett is a former stripper and she has the body to prove that as a possibility. She has a great fear of flying; in fact, part of A. J. ‘s contract in New York included limo rides for his wife.
When A. J. signed his 5 year, $82.5 million contract with the Yankees, wife Karen and children Ashton and A. J. Jr. decided to stay in suburban Baltimore to live. A. J. Burnett is a native of Maryland.
New York might be too much for the fairer Burnett. “I’m a shy person,” Karen said. “This is crazy,” she said as her husband was being introduced to the New York press along with C. C. Sabathia and wife Amber.
“I love the city and A.J. loves it, he’s so excited,” Karen said. “I think he wanted to say yes right away, but he had to play it cool. Who wouldn’t want to play for the Yankees, right?”

As for A. J. Burnett, there’s no doubt about his fantasy baseball value. He’s been consistent over the years and will get you strikeouts with a respectable WHIP. Burnett should notch career win # 100 this year. The biggest problem with Burnett has been his 9 stints on the DL since 2000.

Yes, I will agree with you that Ms. Burnett is hott (even though you misspell “hot”). No doubt, many baseball players have attractive wives. I am a regular reader of Fantasy Baseball Dugout. I am also an avid fantasy baseball player. I am also a gay man. By only showing attractive women on your site, however, you are not providing a proper public service to your gay male and straight female readers. There are many very hott male baseball players out there like David Wright, Chase Utley, Hunter Pence, Cole Hamels, and Derek Jeter. I hope you will consider adding pics of these fine gentlemen to your site in the future.
