Jordan Schneider is the wife of New York Mets’ catcher Brian Schneider.
The former Jordan Sproat married Schneider on November 6, 2004. The couple has one child, Tatum, 2, and two dogs, appropriately named Dinger and Ribbie.
Jordan is a southern belle with a cute face and gorgeous blonde hair. The couple still keeps their primary home down south, but Jordan says she is very excited to be in New York. After being traded from the Nationals, Jordan and Brian decided to live in Manhattan rather than a leafy Connecticut suburb. The couple posed with Brian’s new jersey in front of Radio City Music Hall when he was announced prior to last season as the Mets’ new catcher.

Brian Schneider and his wife, Jordan, bought a five-bedroom, five-bath in Palm Beach Gardens from Wayne and Donna Marie Rivardo for $2.65 million on Dec. 17.
As for Schneider, 32, the baseball player, he hit .257 last year for the Mets while stroking 9 homeruns with 38 RBI in 110 games. Schneider and Ramon Castro are sharing catching duties for the Mets this year. Both Schneider and Castro will be free agents after this season and the Mets’ are grooming prospect Josh Thole for the future.
On April 17, however, the Mets confirmed Schneider’s back pain was serious and placed him on the disabled list. Omir Santos was recalled from Class AAA Buffalo to back up Ramon Castro. Schneider said the discomfort started last Saturday night in Florida, when he caught Livan Hernandez. He said he hoped that it would subside as soon as possible, though certainly by Monday, when his wife, Jordan, is scheduled to give birth to their first son.
Brian Schneider, who is known as a great handler of pitchers, is a serviceable second catcher for most fantasy baseball teams in deep leagues, but he’s certainly not a player that is going to make you a fantasy baseball contender. With his being on the DL now, he should not be on your target list.
