Rotoworld is reporting the Price will start in AAA. So unless you have a minor league staff or plenty of bench spots he won’t be worth a roster spot just yet.

@Nick – love the mention of Chris Carpenter, and he should definitely be on the watch of almost every fantasy baseball player. That said, his injury history isn’t good, so unless you’re taking a late round flier in a mixed or NL-only league, I wouldn’t waste the pick.

David Price is probably the top “sleeper” in fantasy baseball this season – meaning he isn’t really a sleeper at all. This has been discussed frequently on our site. Check out our fantasy baseball sleepers category for more on that.

What about putting Chris Carpenter(STL-SP) on the list? He was injured the past two years but is healthy this year and will pitch game 1 or 2 for the Cardinals. Yahoo Sports has him ranked 206. I will be picking him.

Thanks Ryan. Yeah Lindstrom has some nasty stuff and while I don’t think the Marlins are a playoff team they could win more games then people think which will give Lindstrom opportunities to get some saves.
