It’s Official: A-Rod To Miss 9 Weeks

ESPN reported this morning that Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez is electing to have arthroscopic hip surgery to repair his torn labrum.

Fantasy Baseball Dugout’s no. 1 fantasy baseball third baseman for the 2009 season is expected to miss 6-9 weeks. The injury has escalated over the past week from a cyst that would cause him to miss the World Baseball Classic to torn cartilage.
