Follow Justin Morneau On Twitter
We found Chien Ming Wang on Twitter a few months back, and while the guy only seems to update every few months, we’re glad MLB players are embracing new media in a cool way.
Today, we wanted to pass along the latest Major League Twitter-er who found us over the weekend – Twins first baseman Justin Morneau.
I’m sure you’re well familiar with Morneau, who won the 2006 AL MVP and the 2008 Home Run Derby. Last year, he batted .300 with 23 homeruns, 129 RBI and 97 runs. We have him ranked the no. 6 first baseman heading into 2009.
Right now, his Twitstream seems to be super focused on the 2009 World Baseball Classic, with the logo depicting “J-Mo” swinging inside a maple leaf. In case you didn’t know, Morneau reps the BC province (British Columbia, FYI).
Below is a screenshot of his Twitter account. I’d say he warrants at least a follow for any Twitter-using baseball fan. Follow Justin on Twitter.
If you know of any other active major leaguers Twittering besides J-Mo and Chien, drop the url to their stream in the comments section.
