I think Alexei Ramirez is WAAAAAAY underrated! He had a .290 avg. 21 HR, 13 SB, and 77 rbi’s to go along with it!! He should at least be in the top 10 but at # 10 you have Jose Lopez who first of all is a first baseman not a second baseman. Ramirez beat him in SB, and HR. Also, Lopez is on a pitiful Mariners while Ramirez is on a cotender in the White Sox.

@DanL – I agree that Chris Davis definitely needs some more consideration on our list, and we have done some re-evaluations of our rankings (updates on the way).

That said, I have to agree with Tony… Chris Davis isn’t really a “sleeper.” In fact, I think everyone talks about him a little TOO much.

I still believe that sleepers exist, especially to people that don’t follow fantasy baseball as closely as we do, but you can’t just call anyone a sleeper. Even our no. 1 sleeper from last year – Joba Chamberlain – wasn’t really a sleeper.

Chris Davis isn’t a sleeper when everyone and their uncle know about him and he’s gonna go before the 9th round…. He is but he isn’t, you can’t hardly call anyone a sleeper anymore. I’ve heard him called the “white ryan howard”

You may need to do a little more homework on those rankings. Where’s the biggest sleeper in the 09 draft in these rankings?? (Chris Davis) Especially…
If he has numbers such as .280-100-37-110.

We don’t have a total Pirate bias. Ryan Doumit gets a little love in our catcher rankings… and Nate McLouth is somewhere in the top 25 outfielders. Guess you’ll have to check back and see where.

You clearly are biased against the Pirates. When are you coming out with your “would be an okay 4th outfielder on a good team” rankings?
