Baseball’s Hottest Wives Finalist: Laura Posada

Laura Posada married New York Yankees catcher Jorge in 1999. Unlike many of Baseball’s Hottest Wives featured in our list of finalists, she is an attorney from Puerto Rico.

Like many of our Hottest Wives - she also has been a model and actress. We’re waiting for her to show up on Law & Order sometime in the future.

She is actively involved with the Jorge Posada Foundation, which Jorge and Laura created in the fall of 2000 to promote awareness and counseling services to families dealing with children who have Craniosynostosis, a birth defect characterized by the premature closure of bones in the skull.

Jorge and Laura have two children - Jorge Luis, and Paulina.

Hubby Jorge has been a must-draft, must-start fantasy baseball catcher, but went on the DL July 20 with a right shoulder injury, has had surgery, and will miss the rest of 2008. Hopefully he will return to form in 2009.
