I wish his numbers from the past 3 seasons justified his continued success. I’m afraid they might not. He definitely has tough matchups this week, but there’s something to be said about rookie pitching success in the NL. For an example, just look at his matchup for tomorrow night – Edinson Volquez.

The really nice thing from a Buccos perspective is that he went into the AZ game with a completely different game plan than against the Cubs b/c he knew that’s what the DBacks would be using to scout him.
