Baseball’s Hottest Wives Finalist: Heidi (Miller) DeRosa
Heidi Miller DeRosa is the wife of Chicago Cubs second baseman Mark DeRosa. Mrs. DeRosa is a model and mother of a daughter, Gabriella Faith.
The stats:
- Height: 5?9?
- Weight: Unknown (we’re guessing “not much”)
- Bats: R Throws: R
- Eye color: Brown
- Hair color: Dark Brown
- Tale of the Tape: 34-24-34
There isn’t a lot of information out there about the former Ms. Miller. We’d like to think that’s because she’s playing hard to get with us.
The aforementioned Mr. DeRosa is hitting .278 with 12 home runs, 63 RBI, 69 runs scored and 4 stolen bases. He also has his own blog on MLB.com (something BallparkBob secretly wishes he had) called The Pulse. He makes some mentions of his family, but tends to keep his commentary about life on the field. Typically, its fans of his wife (like us) that make comments about his wife.
According to Yahoo! Fantasy Baseball, DeRosa has position eligibility at first base, second base, third base, AND outfield. So while his numbers are only decent for the liking of most fantasy baseball GMs, his multiple position eligibility is a plus for owners in deep leagues, or leagues with a low number of bench spots. Consider adding DeRosa for days like Monday and Thursday where there is limited game action, and you have multiple spots to fill in.

I had the pleasure of sitting next to this person and some other Cubs’ wives when the Dodgers swept them out of the playoffs…talk about sore losers! They had the guy in front of my kicked out because he was cheering for the Dodgers and yelled out “Derosa sucks” (they told the ushers he was throwing stuff at them and using profanity) and they then tried to get another Dodger fan from the same party thrown out and that guy wasn’t even loud!

Not cool, Joe. Thanks for passing this along to us. Not that it really matters that much, however… the Dodgers are still playing, and every Cubs player has taken his wife on vacation.

i am a dodgers fan myself and happened to be in the same section as cubs wives as well…i saw everything that went down and “joe” and all his pals were way out of line. I felt bad for those girls and the guy that got kicked out was screaming profanities in derosa’s wife’s face. She finally got sick of it and had him removed. i asked her myself if she wanted to switch seats with me because of how they were acting. Like I said..i am a dodgers fan..but they pushed it to where those girls had no choice. Deros wife ignored him until he continued to stand up, point at her and 3 others, and bash their husbands. Go Dodgers! But my apologies for the idiots in front of them.

The saga continues. Thanks a lot for the second opinion, Mike. Much appreciated. Its unfortunate that there are fans out there like this. There’s trash talk - and then there’s harassment. Your recount of the story makes it sound more like harassment. Thanks for the follow up.
