Ashley Eckstein is the first Baseball’s Hottest Wives Finalist that has a career that doesn’t involve modeling. Instead, she’s an actress.
Formerly named Drane, the 26-year old Eckstein married the 2006 World Series MVP Shortstop David in 2005. She played Jan Brady in the TV movie The Brady Bunch in the White House, had a role on the Jeff Foxworthy sketch comedy series Blue Collar TV, and has appeared in movies like Sydney White and Alice Upside Down.
Eckstein also stars in the new Star Wars animated film The Clone Wars, in theaters August 14. She will voice the role of Ahsoka Tano.
Just because Eckstein is a finalist for Baseball’s Hottest Wives doesn’t mean we think you should run out and add her husband to your fantasy roster. On the year, Ecks is hitting .274 with 1 home run, 22 RBI, 25 runs scored, and 2 stolen bases.
Even for a low-level fantasy baseball shortstop, that’s not enough production to garner consideration.
