    I can't comment on whether it is a phony video, but any ball girl who went after a ball in play would be fired. She would have to let the fielders have a chance. The fact that the left fielder didn't appear to be close is irrelevant. Until the foul ball strikes the ground or the wall, it is in play and she would be interfering with play.
